The study was carried out as part of the Social Navigator project and included 444 state, municipal and private universities from 81 regions: engineering (126), classical (87), agricultural (56), humanitarian (68), medical (48) and as well as universities from the sphere of management (59).
The University of Tyumen ranked 11th position among classical universities. The percentage of graduates who received a job placement is high – 94.4%, which is 6.5 points higher than in 2017. The share of research funds in the university budget remained at the same level – 15.9%. The science citation index is 15, one point higher than last year.
“We believe that the number of indicators should be minimal but they should reflect the chosen area of the university’s activity – the production of an educational, developmental and scientific product that is in demand.
The universities ranking is designed to reflect the quality of vocational education,” says the Social Navigator project website.
