Of these, almost 326,000 passengers on domestic routes, which is 24% above the first quarter of 2016 and more than 18,000 passengers – on international routes, where growth was 79%.


There is also an increase in the number of aircraft departures by 10% – 2354 for the first three months. In Roshchino in the current year new directions will be opened and the total number of routes will increase. the governor of the Tyumen region Vladimir Yakushev put the task of purposefully developing inter-regional flights. “Our strategic goal is to return the status of a regional hub to the Tyumen airport, as it once was” – the head of the region stressed.

Since April 1, the airport has traditionally switched to the summer schedule. In addition to international flights to Larnaca, Tunisia, Burgas, Antalya, the novelties of the season will be flights to Thessaloniki of Ellinair and Istanbul by AtlasGlobal. Speaking about domestic flights – Usinsk, in the near future – the opening of flights to Strezhevoy and Nizhny Novgorod. Since May 2017 air flights will resume in Kazan, Samara and Rostov, which were present in the schedule of last year.

Recall that the annual passenger flow of the airport in 2016 amounted to 1,530,549 passengers, an increase in comparison with the year 2015 of 8.7%. In January 2017, Roshchino officially opened after a major reconstruction.

According to the Governor of the Tyumen region Vladimir Yakushev, the capitally renovated air terminal complex will help improve the investment climate and give a new impetus to the development of the region’s economy. “Now residents and guests of our region will be able to make their trips in more comfortable conditions, saving time” – he said.
